Many of the major cruise lines including Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Disney, Norwegian and Holland America offer cruises to the Western Caribbean with all of the cruises being somewhat cheaper than other cruises offered by each line. The Carnival Western Caribbean cruises tend to be much cheaper and can be found more often due to having year round ships cruising from Tampa and New Orleans.

Even though our family prefers Royal Caribbean we have always chose the Carnival cruises out of Tampa for our Western Caribbean trips due to the fact that it has always been the best deal and we love visiting Tampa. Because the ship is in port almost every day it isn’t as important to have a great ship like the Oasis because you are touring ports more than you are on the ship.
